The Government Revenue Collection Associate, or GRCA, was a newly incorporated non profit whose mission is to educate government agencies about collecting delinquent revenue. I came on board during their planning stages to design a logo and website. The website would be an information portal and needed to have members-only login access for the document libraries as well as provide a place for potential members to learn about the organization. Using Drupal as the backend, the NoPo team designed and built a custom Drupal theme for the site which includes an interactive poll, eNews signup, and a complete CMS which enables them to edit and update the site themselves, without the help of an HTML-saavy person.

Here's a brief outline of the process:

Planning:

• + Survey/interview
• + Development of site map
• + Information architecture/wireframing

Design:

• + NoPo presents three distinct design directions based on the wireframes
• + After design reviews and final approval on home page, design is translated to all 2nd and 3rd level pages
• + Design and production of custom graphics for each section of the site

Programming:

• + Designs are coded into a custom Drupal theme
• + Site is populated with content
• + Training on the Drupal CMS is provided
